 PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE AT CITYSCAPE ABU DHABI Elevation in partnership with Melville Exhibition & Event Services provided all the primary rigging installations for the first Cityscape exhibition held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates. Over 40 tons of equipment and features were rigged at the event which showcased future developments such as Yas Island home of the 2009 Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix. |
 ELEVATION GOES EAST Elevation have been contracted to provide all primary rigging services, hall mark outs and rigging management at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates in partnership with Melville Exhibition & Event Services. The International Defence Exhibition IDEX 2007 was the first exhibition to be held in the new exhibition complex which is part of a $2.17 Billion development. Working to a punishing schedule that included waiting for the venue to be completed, all services were delivered on time and to specification. IDEX 2007 is the largest arms exhibition in the middle east and was opened by President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan with Vice President and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum also in attendance. |
 Elevation on Par at the Ryder Cup Elevation provided rigging services and equipment at the 36th Ryder Cup at the K Club in Saffron Kildare, Ireland. Over a 1 month period Elevation rigged banners to the event's press centre and provided over 100mtrs of lighting trusses to the Liffey Club hospitality suite over looking the 17th hole on the course. With a client brief that required a high quality finish plus preservation of the K Club site the installation was a challenging one. Rigging within the Arena Events Jumbo and De Boer's Emperor temporary structures entailed the movement and installation of 4 tons of lighting and rigging equipment to the second floor of the latter building. This gave us the change to showcase our knowledge of venue rigging at an event that was transmitted around the world. |
 A Great Deal For Bradford & Bingley Elevation provided drapes, chain hoists and rigging services to Buckmark Productions for the Bradford & Bingley Manager's conference held at the new Ricoh Arena Coventry.  Making an Impression at IPEX 2006 Elevation was contracted by Production Company Stagepoint to provide trussing and rigging services at a presentation dinner hosted by Rank Xerox and compered by Newsnight's Jeremy Paxman. An impressive 70mtr x 5.5mtr curved cyclorama stretched backdrop was rigged using Elevation's S36R prolyte truss.  Elevation serves up the Naked Chef at BBC Good Food The "Big Kitchen" feature at the BBC Good Food show called for rigging expertise to coordinate and supply solutions to challenges set by design company Image Innovation. With celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and Gary Rhodes amongst the contributors the quality of the services and equipment supplied was paramount. Elevation provided drapes and trussing from its our stock to help create a 2000 tiered seated auditorium for the BBC Good Food 2005 at the National Exhibition Centre. A 40mtr wide x 8mtr high stage set was also flown from the venue roof to create an impressive backdrop. |
 Theatre fit for a Prime Minister at ExCel Elevation provided rigging production management and equipment on the build of the Cordia Theatre at the Biotechnology Convention 2005 at ExCel London for Image Innovation. 1500 sq mtr of drapes and aluminum trussing were supplied plus aerial access. The participants at the Convention included the Prime Minister Tony Blair. |

 London 2012 Bid Result Elevation was appointed the rigging contractor for all flown features in Trafalgar Square for the London 2012 Bid Result. With the backdrop of Nelson's Column over 5 tonnes of video, sound and lighting and 20 tonnes of ballast were rigged on a bespoke ground support system.  Classical Performance at Olympia The launch of the Classical Alive exhibition in the National hall Olympia posed two main challenges. Two theatres needed to be created taking into consideration a tight build schedule and venue height restrictions. This was achieved using the experience of the Elevation team and coordinating with the Venue service providers. A 4 tonne self climbing ground support system was used as a solution to the height restriction of the venue, with drapes being hung on pre rigged catenaries. |
